I jokingly said that I was the <noscript> element but I like this answer a lot.

You are the <cite> element!

You have vast knowledge and love citing what you have learned from other places.

Your nested element is <a>.

Anchors like to connect ideas and people, just as the link helps connect HTML documents.

I've had the Bambino Plus for a few years now and its a great little machine. Pretty much exactly the same as yours other than this has the "auto steam" feature which I rarely use.

I got a bottomless portafilter after a bit to try to understand what was happening but also because if done right, it makes for a good video. I try to do around 8-15 on the grind settings for my DF64 with 18g and ~36s pull. Good as just regular espresso or with milk.

The Bambino really is a great machine but the cleaning UX has always been a little confusing to me. When you start running the cleaning cycle it kinda seems like the machine just stalls but you just have to let it sit there until the lights all stay on solid.

One other weird thing that happened is once I ran the cleaning cycle early but the machine lit up a few shots later in what would have been the normal scheduled cleaning time. I ran it again and everything was fine, just confusing. I remember reading that this was an issue with the Plus but can't seem to find the source so it may have just been user error.

I really enjoy tinkering around with this machine without it feeling like its a full time hobby to get just right. Now, it's time for a cortado.

I'm not sure if this is a thing but Joe and I must have shared a dream last night.

Friendship is funny. It’s so vital to us. But it can be brittle. Fragile.

Moving around a lot I got used to having temporary friends. I've lost touch with a lot of people and have tried to reconnect to little success. There's nobody to blame, we're all different now.

I like the metaphor of friendship as a garden because it feels very true. I like gardens. I like to see stuff grow and enjoy things when they're ready. But I'm bad at gardening. I hope I can be better.

But you do realise you proved my point a bit? If one needs to go searching the GitHub issues to figure out how to do it, then people would need to be really motivated to do it.

I completely agree with this. A big challenge for me has been finding the right example that is maybe linked in the wiki. When nothing is found I usually ask at HWC and get more pieces of the puzzle but in cases where something isn't defined as well as other things, like watch posts, it's a dead end.

And yet, sometimes I have a feeling that people (not you personally) just sort of assume that we all understand the microformats.

This is specially important in this case. When there's not an example anywhere it's up to the person that wants to define the microformats to do it. For me it's a bit intimidating and I have struggled with this because I don't think I understand enough and sometimes do it completely wrong.

Luckily like you mentioned in your reply to gRegor, people I've interacted with in the IndieWeb have always been very helpful and I have not felt judgement for being wrong. But I don't know if this would be immediately apparent to a newcomer.

I brought it up again at HWC Pacific since its one of the main ways I use my site and the lack of consensus has always bothered me.

I create watch posts with sparkles where the u-watch-of property is an h-cite with name, year, IMDB ID, and IMDB URL. I also add a rating and progress which can be "want", "started", or "finished" based on these discussions.

In the watched feed they used to be h-reviews but was pointed to this discussion about switching over to h-entry with an u-review-of at HWC. Not 100% on board but it feels better than h-review.

If we take RSVPs as an example where a in-reply-to and rsvp means its an RSVP post, it would seem like an h-entry with a p-rating is enough to classify a post as an review. This way we could review a u-watch-of, u-read-of, or anything else. I think there might be a conflict if a post where to have a u-watch-of and a separate property (location for example) where the question would be: Is this review of the movie, the venue, or seeing the movie at this venue.

For now, this is how I'm using watch posts. I need to start adding some of this stuff to the wiki and other discussions since it feels like if someone were to want to add watch posts they could either use this as a starting point or tell me how it can be improved.

I thought it was just me. I took in my brothers airpods pro and after diagnostics the right and left ones needed replacement. They quoted replacements for ~$160 but somehow the system allowed it to be marked as $90. Except it wouldnt let me check out...

He ended up getting a new set of the latest pros for cheaper.

This all feels like a scam so you are forced to purchase apple care.

Back home in Ecuador I don't remember anyone drinking tea unless it was for medicinal purposes (stomach ache, nausea, cold). We do coffee multiple times a day, and I still usually drink a cup of coffee right before bed.

Tea culture in the UK was always fascinating to me so a few years ago I spent some time trying to learn how to make a proper cup of tea. I'm not sure if I got there but I sometimes will have my version of that as a treat.

"I dont have anything interesting to say" is the one that resonates with me the most.

I'm trying to think of my site as more of a public journal where the content is for me first and if someone gets something out of it, thats just a bonus. I still dont write much because "I gotta fix [x] on my site first"
